Challenge: Here East was the new name for the former Olympic Broadcast and Press Centres. The brand needed to show its ambition and scale to help it begin filling its million square feet of hyper-connected commercial space with vibrant businesses, world-class educators, progressive retailers and cultural curators
Solution: An unashamed rallying cry aimed at grabbing the attention of creatives and makers everywhere. All told by a full-sized animatronic robot created by Hackney hero John Nolan, exactly the kind of maker Here East planned to recruit.
As well as writing the film, I was also a key member of the team that helped to shape the brand online - from setting the tone, through to writing pretty much every single word on the launch website.
